Yup! Been contemplating how to get my travel audio kit to fit in with most 7kg carry on weight limits and the Ru6 gave me an answer to that also.

I had a non os filterless dac a while ago and loved the musicality and ‘bounce’ it injected into my speaker based system. Having got back into headphones recently I was intrigued to see if there was a portable equivalent, and found the RU6. It’s being fed from an iPhone into a Little Dot mk3 and into HD600s. It has exceeded my expectations.

Legacy revival

I’ve had the RU6 for about two months and I am really enjoying the sound and life it puts into my legacy stereo system. Sounds resembles some fine vinyl recordings. Vocals are well separated and out front especially using the OS. NOS presents itself well for those times you want to chill out. Thanks Cayin for a great product, and enjoyed reading this review.
