My suggestion is to email PLUSSOUND and ask for a few loaners but I am reading this right you are Ru-based? Maybe Xchesser has some loaner alternatives as I know customs is a killer for high-end gear into Ru. I would hate to give you the go signal on an expensive X8 beforehand and you do not think you got enough improvement. Personally, I think the PPH is going to give you more body and dynamic range so start with that.

Oooh, thank you very much Marcus for such a quick and detailed answer!)
I probably should have been honest with you to the end and the situation is like this: I have an EE Odin with a stock cable from PW, I also have a Hugo 2 Chord and this box sounds just incredible – this one is like Odin’s squared: maximum resolution, maximum scene and attitude to details. Absolutely all Hi-Fi players can’t compete with Hugo (and by the way, the only thing I haven’t listened to is LP6))) and I’m unlikely to trade Hugo for anything else (or take the player as an add-on).
I bought the SpinFit nozzles right away – I really liked them, especially how they sit in the ear (my friend highly advises Spiral Dot and Azla – I’ll try them soon too).
I am satisfied with absolutely everything in this bundle, but is it possible to make the sound even better due to the cable, that’s the question)

Hi Antony. I don’t have the X8 version, just the X6 build and it will bring in a more physical sound with more body but I am not wholly convinced it is a much warmer timbre than stock. I suspect the additional body though will help if you are concerned the stock is too thin sounding. The Copper+ sounded smoother to my ear but it’s the EXO so there may be more resistance at play there.

Mind you there are some cheaper options also such as moving from Final E to Spintfit tips can calm things down as well as your source. I find the LP P6 (non-touch version) to be very creamy and smooth with the Odin but you have to put up with a lack of touch controls. The R01/N6ii DAP is a cheaper smooth option.

Try the tips first, it’s a very low-risk exercise then ask PLUSSOUND for a demo unit if they are willing.

Could you advise me whether there will be a big profit in improving the sound (I would probably like my Odin’s to sound warmer on the bass and slightly different upper frequencies), the stage and details if I replace the stock cable from PW Audio in EE ODIN with X8 PPH from PLUSSOUND?

Thank you!)
